01 / INFRASTRUCTURE ALREADY BUILT
We are not seeking funds to invent a space. We are seeking support to make it produce culture.
Studio Débora Kaz is a social, navigable 3D exhibition environment accessed through a web browser. Its core technical architecture was developed independently before this programme. Here, the digital is not a substitute wall: space, movement, presence, behaviour, light, image and time may become part of an artwork’s language.
The 2027–2028 funding request does not retroactively finance the platform’s creation. It makes four distinct exhibition projects possible, along with their production, professional remuneration, public access, research and documentation. The infrastructure remains; every exhibition transforms it.
A changeable digital architecture, not a replica of a physical gallery.
Visitors move through and share an experience within the same environment.
Each artist shapes the relationship between artwork, space and audience.
Exhibitions, critical reflection and documentation build an institution beyond individual events.

02 / LANGUAGE
An artwork need not fit within a screen. It can construct the place where it happens.
The Studio’s architecture is not a fixed backdrop; it becomes artistic material, reconfigured for each participant’s practice.
03 / ORIGIN · OUTSIDE THIS BUDGET
Vestígios inaugurates the Studio. It is not part of the 2027–2028 funding request.
In December 2026, Vestígios, the inaugural work by Débora Kaz, brings the environment into public use for the first time. It demonstrates the platform’s operation and starts its institutional memory. The proposed annual programme starts in March 2027, with four new exhibitions and a separate budget.
Vestígios 2026 is not included in the BRL 694,834.09 annual programme budget.

See the actual space, not a speculative rendering of future artworks.
These are images of the Studio's existing navigable 3D environment. They demonstrate a working digital infrastructure, not the visual identity of the four artworks still to be commissioned. The artistic programme requires new contracts, technical work and public programming.

The Studio can be visited in a sponsor-only demonstration by arrangement, while the public programme remains in preparation.
04 / EXHIBITION PROGRAMME
Four cycles. Four distinctive artistic approaches. One institution that changes shape without losing continuity.
From April 2027 to January 2028, the Studio will host two solo exhibitions by international artists, one solo exhibition by a Brazilian artist, and a national group exhibition of six Brazilian artists selected through an open call. Each cycle will have its own exhibition architecture, sonic events and critical discussion.
First international solo exhibition
An invited artist’s practice takes shape in a dedicated architecture of movement, light and display. The first cycle begins the annual programme and opens exchange with international artistic perspectives.
Second international solo exhibition
A different practice, a different configuration. The public space will be transformed only once the previous exhibition ends; the next work is not reduced to a change of content.
Brazilian solo exhibition
An invited Brazilian artist takes over the environment with an original language, scale and visitor experience. National and international research are engaged without a hierarchy of origins.
Group exhibition by six Brazilian artists
Selected through a national open call around territory and memory. Six distinct artistic proposals form a collective exhibition shaped through dialogue with the curatorial and technical direction.
05 / OPPORTUNITIES FOR ARTISTS
The final cycle will not depend on existing contacts. It will invite proposals from across Brazil.
The national open call is scheduled to be announced in June 2027, with applications in July, assessment in September and final results in the last week of September. Published guidelines will detail selection criteria and procedures. Prior 3D modelling experience will not be required to apply.
06 / WHAT AN EXHIBITION REQUIRES
Paying artists means recognising the work of production, not only permission to exhibit.
Each artist is expected to receive a participation fee under a separate scope from the actual work of producing the artwork and its digital environment. The annual plan also funds artistic and technical direction, executive production, design, documentation and specialised services. Building a digital exhibition space takes real expertise, tools, experimentation and time.
Two solo exhibitions, each with its own research and spatial design.
One solo exhibition devoted to an original Brazilian practice.
Open-call group exhibition with fees for participation and production.
07 / CULTURAL PROGRAMME AND KNOWLEDGE
The exhibition is only part of the encounter. Everything around it builds understanding and memory.
Each cycle includes two live music performances, a public art conversation, a free educational session and a digital catalogue with two original essays, one critical and one analytical. These are not add-ons: they help the art circulate and be understood.
08 / PUBLIC CULTURE
Free access does not mean barrier-free access. Accessibility must be part of the work.
The programme will be free online, with guidance and information in Portuguese and English. Plans include specialised navigation assessments, accessible PDFs, captions and transcripts for spoken sessions, and Brazilian Sign Language interpretation during talks and educational sessions. Accessibility work will be reviewed by specialists, subject to project funding.
Cycle-by-cycle assessment and adaptation of the 3D experience.
Accessible language versions of catalogues and free documentation.
Captions, transcripts and sign-language interpretation for scheduled spoken content.
09 / SEE BEFORE SUPPORTING
The platform already works. Its public cultural programme is the next commitment.
The film documents the existing digital space. The annual programme exhibitions will have their own configurations, built in dialogue with their artists.
10 / THE COST OF A PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMME
The budget makes visible the labour that a cultural institution often hides.
BRL 694,834.09 is the total budget submitted to the SALIC system for March 2027 through February 2028. It covers four exhibitions, artistic and technical remuneration, music, essays, catalogues, education, accessibility, communications, operational infrastructure and management. It is the planned cost of the programme, not funding received nor ministerial approval.
SALIC APPLICATION NO. 576941 · BUDGET RECORDED 21 OCT 2026 · SUBJECT TO REVIEW AND CHANGES. IT IS NOT AN APPROVAL OR CONFIRMED FUNDRAISING.
BUDGET COMPOSITION · 21 OCTOBER 2026
The Exhibitions category contains separate budget lines for AI tools (BRL 9,743.88) and other digital services, software and licences (BRL 12,193.60), with no duplicated spending.
The last three lines comprise the SALIC category “Project Administration”. Communications and accessibility are not presented here as overhead. Legal and accounting services also appear within the cultural products. The amounts are official budget categories, not incremental charges.

11 / TARGETS AND REPORTING
Audience numbers will not be an advertising promise. They will be measured.
The plan targets 3,000 unique visitors per exhibition. The sum of 12,000 exhibition-level records may include returning visitors and is not a claim of 12,000 different individuals. The programme also anticipates 100 public-conversation attendances, 100 educational attendances, 320 music-event attendances and 1,200 catalogue downloads. Planning targets will be distinguished from observed results.
12 / WAYS TO PARTICIPATE
No one needs to fund an entire institution to help build its cultural programme.
We offer accessible support tiers and larger sponsorships, with recognition and deliverables proportional to the commitment. Figures are proposed contributions, not a purchase price for an exhibition or its artistic independence. Every agreement will define scope, duration, branding and reporting in writing.

15 / IMPORTANT INFORMATION
A professional partnership begins with clear information.
Has BRL 694,834.09 been approved?
No. It is the proposed budget registered under SALIC application no. 576941 in October 2026, subject to review and potential changes. No approval or fundraising is being claimed.
Does Vestígios 2026 belong to the 2027 budget?
No. Vestígios is the inaugural exhibition and demonstrates the platform’s existence. The 2027–2028 programme funds four new exhibitions.
Can a company support just part of the programme?
Yes. Contributions may cover defined project activities and cycles under written terms. The same expense will not be charged to multiple funders.
Are direct sponsorship and Brazil’s tax-incentive mechanism equivalent?
No. These are separate funding models. Fiscal benefits are subject to authorisation and applicable law; this proposal does not itself confer a tax benefit.
Can sponsors select the artists?
No. Artistic independence, the open call’s rules and artists’ intellectual-property rights remain separate from sponsorship.
